Artist Statement - Evolve - Living One's Niche

Humanity is on earth to evolve;

death makes that goal one with a finite opportunity to realize.

After surviving a visit from death in my early twenties,

I had been in a constant search for that niche of creativity

for which I was spared.

At an early age I sensed that there was a limited supply of energy

within the human body

and that one must choose to use that allotment wisely.

It was only at the age of 60, though, with 30 years of work

within the graphics industry’s growth in computerization under my belt,

and a successfully raised family responsibility fulfilled,

that the universe finally presented me with the energetic creative niche

that resonates deep within my soul.
